Our Blog.com

Great blog name, clearly a great start. Although we do use blogs as private bulletin boards to coordinate work, here at blog.com we're quite late at the public blog game. This medium has all the potential to be a great link between us and our customers, so let's make it happen.

I hope to make this space a peering spot into what we're doing, where blog.com is going. Right now, we're doing some heavy prep work. The software platform needs work to sustain the next growth phase -- feature and performance-wise. We're doing the polishing and reworking needed for that jump. We're also picking up steam, growing the development team, and enduring the growing pains that come with that. Expect great stuff coming out soon!

1 - I'm enjoying blogging as well as reading the work of others but after browsing through other blogs I have to log out and log back in to get back to my own. Isn't there an easier way for us to surf through other blogs and get back to our own and it would be nice to be able to read a blog and have a list of favorites so we can read more of that writer's work. (Comment this)

2 - Hi Wylde,

Here's some info I hope you'll find useful.

First of all, when you browse any blog.com page, note there's always a blog.com logo on the page, either in the bottom right-hand corner or the bottom left-hand corner. When you click on that logo it takes you back to the site's homepage, http://blog.com. If you're currently logged in, then note that the homepage has a User bar right below the topmost ad bar. The user bar has two buttons : editor and logout. If you click on editor, it'll take you to the editor and there you go !!

As for having a list of favorites blogs, yes it is possible ! You can use blogrolls !! When you're editing your blog, click on the tab labelled Sidebar, and then click on the submenu element labelled blogrolls.
There you can define as many blogrolls as you wish. You can then add links to those blog rolls. They can be links to other blogs or links to favorite webpages. You name it !

I hope this has been useful to you,
The Blog Hiker. (Comment this)
