Mega Release
Ladies and gentlemen,
I’m proud to anounce a very big release that includes:
- a Dashboard, that will allow you to manage all your account, like blogs, albums, profile, etc…
- a remodeled Editor, simplier and cleaner.
- a new Photo Blog with tagging.
Please mind that in the next few hours there some wrinkles while we finalize the last details.
Feel free to tell us what you think of these new features.
Can u delete or shut down a blog?
Yes you may (although we don’t recommand you do :p ). All you need to do is send your account information to the support team and we’ll take care of it for you.
I want to get back to basic edit again and I don’t know how.
Or at least tell what I have to do for don’t seeing the read more button in my post because I don’t like it.
Sorry, I am not yet very fond of the new release! Seems less than a beta version, with quite a poor transfer from the old version (i.e. I had to manually update some of my entries with photos), a few functionalities lacking (or where do I find the advanced edit?) or not working at all (i.e. making an album private, always flops back to public or tagging - on which I always get an error message). Two suggestions: fix it soon…. and before the next upgrade do some more testing!

i have problems with the new updated version..All the photos of my posts have dissappeared..Please help because my blog is almost my job and more than 250 people read it everyday from all over the world

PLEASE HELP! I have submitted two Support Tickets on this with no results or replies. I know it takes time, but my blog was set to Japanese. The other options include Icelandic, Swedish and others, but not English. I have many readers who have emailed instead of commenting, which defeats the purpose. Please SOMEONE help.

Yes, I have the same problem as Anet and Clara above.I can’t change the language!!!
It’s nice to see that they keep improving blog.com. But the languages are a problem indeed. I’m all into Hungarian these days, which is quite funny. Though I hope to continue in Dutch very soon.
It’s cool that everything seems to be working again right now. But what if I don’t want to use the “read more” function, but want to have all my entries been displayed in whole on the first page? I think it would be a good idea to reimplement the possibility to avoid the “read more” function.

Where are “two parts to posts”?
It is no more possible have “two parts to post”?
Until now i have “two parts to post”, but now i have just “one part to post”. Why?
I read this (http://support.blog.com/index.php?_m=knowledgebase&_a=viewarticle&kbarticleid=10) but i don’t find the “Advanced Edit checkbox” and i whant to enable the two parts to post.

WHAT ON EARTH HAVE YOU DONE ? Apart from being most user unfriendly, this new system keeps losing photos and posts. Updating the same is tedious and unreliable. Bring back what we had in February and prior. Ever heard of the expression, “is it aint broke, don’t fix it”. I am sorry to say this is a bad piece of softare engineering. The worst is I and many others are paying for it.
