The itch to write

Our competition ended a little over a week ago and it turned out tougher than we thought to outline winners, let alone The winner. But here goes...

All these taglines will be used as part of an online web campaign to promote blog.com. We would like to thank you all for taking parting in the contest. Winners will be contacted shortly. Our grand winner will be rewarded with a lifetime Platinum account whereas the runner-ups will be awarded a five-year Platinum account. Congrats ! We all hope you'll turn your blogs into dynamic spaces teeming with creativity.

After a little over two weeks, our Find a tagline contest is over. You turned up many and we read the taglines as they came pouring in. We'd like to take this opportunity to thank you for taking part so many.
Shortly we will announce a winner and possibly several runner-ups, so stay tuned for more information !

As you may have noticed, blog.com is undergoing intensive care, surgery. A face lift in some ways...

And we want you to take part in... rummage round in your head for a couple of clever words, add them together and presto! Come up with astounding taglines we'll all love.

Because blog.com is not our site but yours, we want you to be an active part of it, and take decisions that'll affect us all. Therefore, at blog.com, we decided to organize a tagline competition starting today, and until the 31^st of May '05. We'd like you to think of a phrase that you believe best reflects the site's spirit, its intentions, its goals, your desires...

How to participate ? It's easy, just drop in your tagline(s) as comments to this post. Don't forget to add your email and blog URL, otherwise we won't be able to reach you, should you win.

And what's in it for the bargain ? The winner will be awarded a platinum blog account for a lifetime.
