Blog.com will go offline for a system upgrade next Sunday (August, 2). We will bring the systems offline at 23h00 UTC (Universal Time Coordinates) and expect to be offline for up to five hours. For reference, 23h00 UTC is:

16h00 PDT (Pacific Daylight Time)
19h00 EDT (Eastern Daylight Time)

Downtime Wednesday at 07h00 GMT

Blog.com will be upgrading database servers, tomorrow starting at 07h00UTC (that’s 02h00EST, 14h00 in Beijing). The upgrade process will need to be executed offline, so the service will be unavailable during the process which lasts about two hours.
