Comment guidelines

Who can submit comments?

Anyone is welcome to submit comments. You don’t need to have a blog of your own but you do need to be logged in at Blog.com to submit a comment at this blog.

If you still don’t have an account please register one now. It takes just a few seconds. No confirmation emails, no long forms to fill. Set the password for your account, pick “Just an account, please” and go!

Forgot your password? Having login trouble? Head over to the Support Center and submit a support ticket instead.

Comments are moderated

We do moderate comments, but generally will leave them posted and unedited as long as they meet our guidelines. However, should we feel it is necessary to edit a comment, the editing will be clearly noted.

Guidelines for good comments

Keep your comments relevant to the topic of the post you are commenting on and be as brief as you can.

Disagree with our post, but do so in a meaningful or thought-provoking way. Provide an intelligent counterpoint to our post.

Agree with our post (we also like that) but do add to the discussion.

Last but not least. Make your comments easy for all of us viewers to read. Check your comments for spelling mistakes before you submit them and be sure you’d make your mother proud should she drop by and read your contribution.

A last note about Links in comments

Don’t be too trigger happy on using links in the comment body. Only use them if they are relevant to what you’re saying or risk being mistaken with one of those intelligent spam bots we like to send to Comment Purgatory.

Perhaps you should hear the voice of the user to remove or place ads at the bottom of the blog inconspicuous location.
Advertising should not be your main source of income. We should know that your domain name is very good, it is advantage, please do not allow advertising for your users frustrated.
